Frequently asked.
Do your balustrades meet NZ safety standards?
Yes. All our systems are designed to meet NZ Building Code F4 (Safety from Falling) and use Grade A safety glass to NZS 4223. We can provide producer statements and PS1/PS3 documentation where required.
How long does it take?
Typically installed over two visits — one to fit the channel or posts, and a second to install the glass once it's manufactured. Lead time on glass is usually 2–3 weeks.
Do I need a top rail?
Not always. A top rail isn't required by code if the glass is correctly specified, but it can reduce glass thickness (and cost) and is sometimes preferred aesthetically. We'll walk you through the trade-offs.
Can you do curved or unusual shapes?
Yes — we work with bespoke curved glass and irregular angles regularly. These projects need a bit more lead time and on-site templating, but they're well within our team's capability.
What suburbs do you cover?
All of Auckland — North Shore, Central, East, West, and South. We also travel for the right projects to Bay of Plenty, the Coromandel, and surrounding regions.
