Description: Supply and installation of commercial internal balustrades

This large-scale commercial balustrade project features high-spec internal glazing designed to achieve a seamless, frameless aesthetic. The balustrades were installed using the Opus Smart Lock system, fixed to a mix of steel and timber substrates.
The project utilises 21.52 Sentry laminated safety glass — a premium glass solution made from two layers of toughened glass bonded with a stiff interlayer, allowing installation without a top rail for an uninterrupted finish. Custom curved glass panels, sourced through Glasshape, were incorporated in select areas, adding a bespoke architectural element.
One of the main challenges on site was the time-intensive process of drilling into steel substrates, requiring careful planning and execution to maintain precision and installation quality.
